I brought my SUV for the state inspection to this business on Tuesday morning. My SUV has always been maintained properly, no problems, no defects, all proper dealer inspections done on time, etc. So I brought it to them running perfectly. In the afternoon came to pick it up, it passed inspection and had an updated sticker on. But somehow it would not start after they "inspected" it. I told them that I arranged for the tow and will be taking it to official Jeep/Dodge Hall dealership to figure out what is suddenly wrong with my vehicle and I left. Returned in few hours to meet the tow truck driver at my car's location and decided to start it out of curiosity. It started normal and at that hour Napa BP already closed for the day. I took it to Auto zone to check battery, alternator, etc. It passed all the tests and battery health was good. Long story short, I believe nothing was wrong with my Jeep to begin with but something might've been tweaked in it so it won't start and I will go back Napa BP looking for their car repair services. Once they realized I am not utilizing their services for it and about to take it to official dealership that might figure out what has been tweaked they put it back within those few hours that I waited at home for the tow truck. Needless to say, next year both of my vehicles aren't going to this place for the inspection, I will take them to the official Hall dealership for state inspections. Find a different place if you don't want to have a strange experience like mine.

Eric was very transparent in all transactions. I am glad that they gave me a list of things that need to be done prior to the next inspection. I think that it will help quite a bit in budgeting for the car expenses. All in all we had a very pleasant experience . This was our first time using this shop.

My son brought his car here for an oil change (his first). They up-charged him and he ended up paying an exorbitant amount.

Very fast service and knowledgeable staff. Eric explained everything and they were very thorough.

My girlfriend went here for a state inspection and they ended up selling her a fuel induction service that cost $270 that she did not need!! I’ve worked on cars since I was 15, and I’ve worked on hers and the engine was running perfectly smooth, and the spark plugs looked fine. If a fuel injector was malfunctioning, I would be able to tell by looking at the spark plugs. I can read plugs very well. Been doing it since I was 15. (I’m 43 now)She uses shell top-tier gas, which has extra cleaning agents in it, which do basically the same thing the machine does over time, keeping the engine clean. They also recommended changing engine air filter, and cabin air filter based on TIME only! Anytime your vehicle is not running your engine air filter nor your cabin air filter it’s getting dirty. You base those on mileage NOT time. The only time you take time into consideration is with engine oil. Internal combustion engines do not seal 100%. As there’s a small gap in the oil control rings, and compression rings on your pistons. And every time you drive a car, small amounts of fuel contaminate the engine oil, and can degrade it/break it down. So in most cases even if you drive a car only 500 miles a year, you still need to change the engine oil at least once a year. That’s why most oil changes are recommended every 5000 miles or 6 months whatever comes FIRST. If you’ve hit 5000 miles in 2 months, it’s time to change your oil. If you put 2000 miles on your car and it’s been 6 months. It’s time to change your oil. In summary, I would avoid this place.
