We bought a Toyota Corolla for our 17 year old son. We took it to napa for an inspection and an oil change. 5 weeks later the engine started knocking. We checked the oil and it was bone dry! They didn't put any oil in it and it has no leak! I went in and told the guy what happened. He responded with, "HUH?" So I explained again. He said thats where the cameras would come in handy. He said he would call his boss. Two days later I stopped back by and the same man told me the cameras dont go back that far. Convenient. They wouldn't even refund my money for the oil change!
THIS IS WHAT I HAD REPLIED TO YOUR HUSBAND ASKING REFUND AFTER 3 MONTH OF OIL CHANGE. IF WE HAD NOT FILL THE OIL INTO THE ENGINE, YOUR CAR WON'T LAST FOR NEXT 30 MINUTES. SO STOP BEING ANNOYING TO THE SHOP. "4 days ago As per our records and state inspector your car did not fail for state inspection and don't know the story here "I took it to a retired mechanic who helped me deal with getting the sticker after he showed them the handbook that they were wrong." Your 04 Corolla with 169k miles came in for state inspection with low oil light. Tech found no oil on deep stick so recommended to perform oil change asap due to leaking head gasket along with recommendation front and rear struts, colored brake fluid and low coolant and much more (42 point MVIP sheet has given to you). After 3 months when your car is totaled because of NO OIL again and you are asking refund for oil change. We never encounter the refund situation you are asking. We told you the condition of your car with nice and clean MVIP sheet. We don't know why you chose us for inspection when there were plenty of places you could go to. With disrespect customer like you always ruins a Good Happy Friday for owners and Technicians for no reason."
