Turbocharged engines can make smaller engines feel stronger, quicker, and more responsive. That extra power comes from heat, pressure, and fast-moving parts working in a very tight space. When oil control starts slipping, the engine may keep driving normally for a while, but damage can build quietly. Oil burning is one of the problems that turbo engines do not handle well.
